Young adult female came to see me today for her TMJ(Temporomandibular joint) pain that she has been suffering for last six month. Even though she had full range of motion of her mouth, she had been suffering dull ache pain all the time last six month.  Her pain level was 7/10. Her pain was worse when she was driving, at night time or when she gets up in the morning.
Her muscles that caused pain were very tight and it caused her headaches as well. 

She had limited range of motion of her neck rotation and her shoulder muscle(Trapezius) were very tight. 
Orthopedic muscle test was also performed to find inhibited muscle on her upper body and her Deltoid, Serratus Anterior, Oblique were inhibited. 

Charles performed massage technique for a couple of minutes on the two muscles that caused issues and also Charles applied motor point acupuncture on those two muscles (only four needles were used!) for 30 minutes.

And....

She was extremely happy with the result and she didn't feel too bad at all! She was especially happy with very minimal needles with great result!

Patient of the week: Shoulder Tendonitis

Another happy patient with the great result!

She came to see me for the shoulder tendonitis three weeks ago. Her range of motion was very limited as you can see and pain level was 12 out of 10! It was very painful when it was palpated!

Combination of fire 🔥cupping and electro ⚡ acupuncture were used to promote blood circulation for the inflammation and to induce the pain killing hormones in the blood stream on affected shoulder!

Couple of minutes of jade muscle rubbing technique was also applied on the shoulder to help the healing process!

The result is amazing as you can see the photo of second week! Her range of motion has greatly improved and her pain level reduced to 2 out of 10!
