 FAQs

  • Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites--commonly referred to as acupuncture points, or acupoints.

    Sports Acupuncture Medicine

Needles to motor points(the spot at which nerve fibers enter muscles) with low current electro-stimulation is often helpful in treating common injuries and muscle inhibition.

Since motor points are often different from classical Traditional Chinese Acupuncture points, this technique represents a new fusion of Western sports medicine and eastern healing arts.

An orthopedic muscle functioning assessment will be performed prior to the treatment in order to find the root cause of the functional problem.

    Traditional Chinese Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture by inserting fine, sterile needles at specific points, an acupuncturist is able to have hampered the smooth flow of your body’s heeling system.

Once that is done, it promotes pain free health, well-being and vitality. Not only can acupuncture treat signs and symptoms of pain and discomfort, but it can also get to the root of the problem. When the initial cause is corrected, your body can begin to heal on deeper levels.

Modern research has demonstrated acupuncture’s effects on the nervous system, endocrine and immune systems, cardiovascular system, and digestive system. By stimulating the body’s various systems, acupuncture can help to resolve pain, and improve sleep, digestive function, and sense of well-being.
